Traditional Food Manufacturing Process

A recipe once reserved for Gozitan wives and daughters, the tradition has been passed from generation to generation and we believe that over the centuries we’ve perfected it. Our homemade jams and cheeses are more than just a perfect pairing, they are a part of our family’s history, and we hope that they will become a part of yours too.

The sweetness in our fig marmalades is a combination of the sugar inside and the love in the hands that make them, while the carob syrups contain the wisdom of the trees that grew them. Our traditional cheese, the ‘Ġbejna’, using goat or sheep milk and seasoned with Salt from Gozo’s salt pans is a treat both to make and to eat when sliced onto a fresh Maltese bread ‘ftira’.
